D2.3 Report on the experiments and feed backs 1 - ARMINES, Report Public, M6
This deliverable is part of e-shape’s work on co-design. On this topic, the role of e-shape is to develop (model, experiment, test and validate) a co-design approach adapted to the Earth Observation context, based on recent advances of design theory. The key expected impact is that co-design helps design services in a long-term perspective, involving both service providers' ecosystem and users’ ecosystem.
In the present deliverable, the outcomes of the experimentations on the “diagnosis process” for all e-shape pilots are presented. The key learnings that D2.2 brings to the e-shape pilots and EO community are:
- The introduction of four main types of co-design aiming at dealing with the successive issues occurring in the development of the services.
- A new understanding of co-design process, that has not to be seen as a “one-shot” process (that is implementing one of these types once and for all), but as a dynamic process, going through different types of co-design at different moments in time depending on the issues faced.
- A new understanding of co-design objective, not only focusing on designing services to be provided, but rather on designing the cooperation agreements between the different actors.
